Prince: The Genius of Funk

Although these days it is said that the title of “Prince of Pop” is now disputed between Justin Timberlake and Prince, the fact is that most brilliant of his time no one could do this. And is that Prince was Prince.
A native of Minnesota, this singer and composer funk, rock and pop, it was during the 80′s one of the most important artists and especially the most innovative artistic medium, to the point where it is considered as one of those who left their profound mark on the beds of rock.
With the particular characteristic of play over 30 instruments, Prince recorded his first album in 1978 called “For You”, where he recorded each of the instruments of the material and is the composer of all songs.
The son of a black jazz musician and a white singer, Prince was regarded by all as a child prodigy, to the point that at 18 he had produced his own demos and at 19, signed a contract with Warner Brothers to creative freedom and absolute art for several albums, becoming the youngest producer in the history of Warner.
Rihanna

Rihanna (Saint Michael, Barbados 20 February 1988) is the stage name Robyn Rihanna Fenty, a Barbadian singer. Their music has influences from styles such as reggae, R & B, dancehall and pop.
It has become known around the world with hits such as Pon de Replay, SOS (Rescue me), Unfaithful, Do not Stop The Music, Take a Bow, Disturbia, Russian Roulette, Rude Boy, I Love You and especially Umbrella.
Born with the name Robyn Rihanna Fenty in Saint Michael (Barbados), went to Memorial Elementary School Charles F., and then attended the Combermere School, where he formed a musical trio with two of his companions. Read the rest of this entry »
John Lennon

Liverpool, United Kingdom (1940 – 1980)
Stanley John Winston Lennon (Liverpool, UK, October 9, 1940 – † New York, USA, December 8, 1980) was a British musician and composer.
Member and founder of The Beatles, where he played guitar, sang and composed much of the material with his partner Paul McCartney. Lennon has composed some of the most popular tunes of the twentieth century.
Born during World War II, his father was a sailor, Alfred Lennon, and his mother was Julia Stanley. Like his father traveled a lot, Julia was lonely, so I ended up divorced. Read the rest of this entry »
Paul McCartney

Sir James Paul McCartney (Liverpool, June 18, 1942). British singer-songwriter who rose to fame as a member of the legendary quartet “The Beatles”.
With John Lennon, a fellow of The Beatles, formed one of the most influential songwriting partnerships of contemporary music, writing together an extensive list of issues too well.
