Sometimes vaunted and sometimes demonized, Heavy Metal, is a controversial genre to its core, is that many of us think that this kind of music is related to inappropriate people, guys problem, long hair, a marked aversion to soap; drugs, excesses and even satanic rites. Band Profile:Black Label Society
Black Label Society is a project of Zakk Wylde, lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne. The band has 10 albums to date. The first album, Sonic Brew. It was made in 1999.

In 1992, Ozzy retired after the No More Tears tour, in which Zakk to form his own solo band Pride & Glory, blending potent bluesy southern rock with heavy metal. In 1994 Ozzy decided that it should leave behind the rest, and numerous Ozmmosis sessions took place. Around this time, Zakk was also offered the open guitar slot in Guns N ‘Roses after Stradlin Izzy out of it and had a hard time deciding whether to tour with Ozzy or join Guns N’ Roses. Neither project panned out and this gave Wylde the opportunity to record his own acoustic album that was just, Book Of Shadows. After limited commercial success with Book Of Shadows, in 1998, Zakk and drummer Phil Ondich formed Black Label Society and recorded their debut album “Sonic Brew ‘. Nick Catanese has been Zakk’s rhythm guitar band from the Book Of Shadows tour. Numencher Craig has been drumming since the album 1919 Eternal in 2001, following the departure of Phil Ondich.
