Guns and roses

The history of the Hard Rock would never be the same after the release of Guns n ‘Roses in 1985, a band that would provide real ferocity and power to rock in a time when music in general had fallen into a very passive state. The original members of Guns n ‘Roses would provide four essential albums in rock history of the 80 `s and 90′s selling over 100 million copies worldwide.

The band was formed by Axl Rose on vocals, Slash and Izzy Strandlin on guitar, Duff McKagan on and use the bass and Steven Adler on drums.

The band Guns N’Roses make Los Angeles his home base, making several appearances in small clubs and small until 1986, were signed to Geffen Records for the following year to launch his classic debut album “Appetite for Destruction” selling a total of 25 million copies.

A curious fact may be mentioned that before signing on Geffen, the band Guns N ‘Roses had as manager Vicky Hamilton, whom they had economic differences. During the promotional tour of “Appetite for Destruction” and the rest of the 80′s the band did great damage and various excesses in all the hotels where they stayed, in addition to a number of embarrassing facts on events and presentations. All this excess would lead the band to an extreme situation where personal conflicts would lead to separate after the release of a covers album “The Spaghetti Incident?”.

Today Axl Rose was finally able to throw the disc that would mark the return of Guns n Roses to the music scene. The album is called “Chinese Democracy” and even though Axl Rose is the only original member of the band, the sound is just as powerful and ambitious as could be noted in the previous albums by Guns n Roses. It is worth mentioning that this album was delayed in the process of creating and producing more than ten years, Internet filtering tracks by some years before its official release.

Steven Adler conduct the band, Adler’s Appetite, where they would play covers of Guns n ‘Roses around the world. On the other hand Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum joined Scott Weiland, former Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver formed, hard rock band that already has two discs and support of large sections of the critics.
