Famous Drummers will Honor John Bonham

The legendary drummer of Led Zeppelin will be honored by several of his colleagues. Steven Adler (ex Guns N ‘Roses) and Vinnie Appice (Black Sabbath) will be among the many musicians who will pay tribute to the legendary Led Zeppelin drummer, the late John Bonham.

The concerts, which will be entitled Bonzo: The Groove Remains The Same, will be held on 12 January at the Key Club in West Hollywood while the next day (January 13) will move to the Galaxy Theatre in Anaheim, both U.S. cities.

Organized by the drummer for Whitesnake, Brian Tichy, the shows will also Adler and Appice, with the presence stellar Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Stephen Perkins (Jane’s Addiction), Carmine Appice (Rod Stewart, Ozzy Osbourne) Kenny Aronoff (Smashing Pumpkins), Frankie Banali (Quiet Riot), Charlie Benante (Anthrax), Bobby Blotzer (RATT), Fred Coury (Cinderella), James Kottak (Scorpions), Abe Laboriel (Paul McCartney, Sting), Chris Slade (ex AC / DC, The Firm), John Tempesta (White Zombie, The Cult, Testament) and Simon Wright (AC / DC, DIO), among others.

The Rock World Mourns 'Captain Beefheart'

The death at 69 years of American rocker Don Van Vliet, alias ‘Captain Beefheart’, generated several reactions in the world of rock from the veteran Tom Waits to the younger generation represented by Franz Ferdinand and The Zutons, who claim his influence.

Don Van Vliet, one of the legends of American rock, died on Friday after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. His death was announced by the New York gallery, Art Gallery Michael Werner, where his works were exhibited. From the 80, ‘Captain Beefheart’ is devoted exclusively to painting.
“He was one who walked in front and showed the way, ” told the Los Angeles Times the singer Tom Waits.

After releasing a single with Ludacris, be remixed by Kanye West and leave with Drake, Justin Bieber is briefly ignoring hip-hop loops to explore country music.

The singer Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts country revealed that the group recorded a song with pop star.

“(Justin) asked us to do a duet with him on his next recording, ” said LeVox to WSIX Nashville radio station. “It’s actually a very good song!” he said.

Bieber confirmed the news Sunday in the social networking site Twitter with the message “I love RascalFlatts and I’m honored to be making music with me. ” He also published a link to a YouTube video with the song “My Wish ” by that band.
