PostHeaderIcon Radiohead’s Guitarist Jonny Greenwood will launch a new soundtrack

Jonny Greenwood has revealed it will launch the soundtrack for the movie Norwegian Wood, a film adapted from the novel of the same name written by Haruki Murakami.

Greenwood, who knows how to play about a dozen different instruments, will be making its third soundtrack.

After Bodysong in 2003, they released the music of the film There Will Be Blood (2007) who has actually spent the musician, the latter has won several awards.

Unfortunately she had been denied an Oscar nomination as the artist had incorporated some elements from other songs that were not his.

To the music of Norwegian Wood, a film released on March 11, four days after launch in-store from the soundtrack on March 7, Greenwood appealed to the BBC Concert Orchestra and the Emperor Quartet.

Meanwhile, Greenwood and Radiohead in the studio to finalize what will be their next album and hope that it will be ready sometime in 2011.

Radiohead illustrated again on the music market with a new initiative. The British group has authorized the free download of a DVD mounted with snippets of video footage of fans at her concert in Los Angeles (USA) January 24, 2010.

Twelve days after the earthquake in Haiti, training occurs during a concert in support of the country sinsitré via Oxfam.

Videos taken during this show has given birth to DVD Radiohead for Haiti a free download with the approval of the group, with an incentive to donate to Oxfam. The various components of the DVD jacket and pieces can be assembled or downloaded and viewed the video online.

Radiohead, whose album OK Computer (1997) was named best album of the last 25 years according to Q magazine, has no label. The group had already authorized installation of a video of fans at capturing a concert in Prague in 2009 and had offered free download, with prices set by the user, from his album In Rainbows in 2007.

Radiohead are an English alternative rock musical originally from Abingdon. Since its formation in 1985 it up Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Phil Selway and Ed O’Brien. To date he has released seven studio albums and won three Grammy Awards.

Radiohead’s success was immediate. Their first album, got good sales thanks mainly to the issue Creep, released as a single advance in 1992 and is to date the most successful band. Some critics thought that Radiohead would be a one-hit wonder. However, the band managed to capture the attention of thousands of fans in the UK with their next album, The Bends.

His third album, OK Computer (1997), which addresses themes of alienation and globalization, has been hailed as one of the best albums of the 90s. He won the Grammy for best alternative rock album of 1998, as well as a nomination for best album of the year.

The following albums, Radiohead took a less conventional path, influenced by electronic music, jazz, experimental music and classical music. Following Kid A (2000), Amnesiac (2001) and Hail to the Thief (2003) did not reaped the same critical success of OK Computer. However, Kid A reached the top spot in U.S. Billboard and won another Grammy for best alternative rock album and a new nomination for best album of the year.
