Muse Albums -part II-

Absolution (2003)
The band took another break to record their third album, but this time left to work with John Leckie Paul Reeve, John Corfield and Rich Costey. Matthew said about Rich: “At first we thought it was the right man to work with rock songs. Previously I had mixed some great rock songs, but in the meantime we had been sending discs of other artists he had worked, and was trying to convince us to do the whole album. Eventually beautify the entire album, understanding perfectly what we were trying to achieve. ”
The album was to be constructive, but at that time the United States and Britain went to war with Iraq and everything changed: “We started with a full orchestra, experimenting,” says Matthew. “Although we have just decided to go back to our roots, rerecording some material with the orchestra, with a lower pitch. The album sounds much harder than we expected. Overall, the world has changed in the last year with the events that have happened. Not that we are a political band, but I think it is impossible to avoid such things. ”
The band grew even stronger with the release of “Absolution” in 2003. Topics such as “Stockholm Syndrome,” “Time Is Running Out ‘,’ Hysteria ‘,’ Butterflies & Hurricanes” and “Sing for Absolution” got rave reviews from the press. The band continues with its influences from classical music, this time adding touches of Wagner.

It album sold 700,000 copies worldwide, and even now continues to sell. Muse also released two box sets: “Showbiz Box Set” (which was released only in France, and contained all copies of their singles) and “Random 1-8 box set” (which contains eight b-sides, as published only in Japan). A successful year, which ended with his nomination to the Brit Awards for his performances, but ultimately fail to reach a win.

Muse Band Profile
Biography
Muse is an alternative rock band from the town of Teignmouth, Devon (England) formed in 1994 by Matthew Bellamy (vocals, guitar, and keyboards), Dominic Howard (drums) and Chris Wolstenholme (bass, keyboards, vocals).
The three were friends from school and changed the name of the band on several occasions (ghotic Plage, Fixed Penalty and Rocket Baby Dolls) before adopting the Muse.
Their sound is a mix of alternative rock and electronica, with influences from classical music and progressive rock, sometimes including metal guitars and Spanish.
Normally used the bass line as the dominant force, Lesnar distortions and other similar effects to achieve a more forceful sound, allowing the guitar away from the main melody and achieve higher grades, another peculiarity is Muse’s piano style in Most of his songs and his music is inspired by the works of Romantic pianist-composers like Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky and Liszt, resulting in a fusion of Romantic style and modern rock.
