Band Profile – Hoobastank
Hoobastank is a rock band from Los Angeles (United States), formed in Agoura Hills (1994) by Doug Robb, Dan Estrin, Markku Lappalainen and Chris Hesse. Robb and Estrin met at a music contest Californian groups, both represented in this competition at their own school and competed against each other, but finally came together to form Hoobastank, and shortly afterwards they were joined by Lappalainen and Hesse, which initially was called “Hoobustank” (which was pronounced the same way as “Hoobastank”).
