Garbage is preparing a new album
A little more than five years after the release of the album Bleed Like Me, the alternative rock band Garbage finally preparing a new album.
Shirley Manson, singer of training, made the announcement last Wednesday to students at the University of West of Scotland as part of a conference on the music industry.
“I am currently working on a new album with the group. We recorded many parts, but it is difficult to say how much. This is the first [album] for some time. I took a break for about five years. I would also go on tour next year, “she says.
Singer 44-year-old from Edinburgh, Scotland, however, did not reveal the date as the new album, or the musical direction he will take.
It will be the fifth album by the musicians also made Duke Erikson, Steve Marker and Butch Vig.
Their eponymous debut album released in 1995, which included the hits Only Happy When It Rains Stupid Girl and has found more than 5 million policyholders worldwide and was certified double platinum in the U.S., Britain and Australia . Their first four albums have sold over 14 million copies on the international market.
