The Story of Carlos Santana

Born in 1947 in Autlan de Navarro, Mexico, Carlos Santana learned from an early age to love music and especially to feel. And that is what in large part to the influence of his father who was then playing the violin in a mariachi band through the streets of Tijuana, steps he also continued.
When his family moved to San Francisco, Carlos was influenced by rock bands of that time and begins to study and learn from them.
In 1966 he created the band Santana, and it is she who manages to enter the stage of the legendary Woodstock 1969, where it leaves the audience impressed everyone with his particular style of playing guitar and well-accomplished rock fusions of Cuban rhythms and Latinos. This was the very beginning of his outstanding career and gave global significance.
